I didn't start out planning to build a digital marketing agency. I started out just trying to help.
Back when I first got into online work, I was a virtual assistant doing a little bit of everything — social media, emails, research, whatever the client needed. And somewhere along the way, I realized I was really good at the marketing side of things. Like, really good.
Over the years, I grew into a full digital marketing specialist. I managed social media pages with over a million followers. I helped a client grow from £3 a month to over £21,000 a month in revenue. I helped a client get a funding with his I worked with businesses in the US, the UK, and the Philippines — across industries I had to Google at 11pm just to understand what my client actually sold.
I learned something from every single one of those clients. What works. What doesn't. What looks good on paper but kills your reach. And what most marketing agencies won't tell you because it's easier to just keep billing you.
Done by Di was born out of one simple frustration: small business owners deserved better. Not cookie-cutter packages. Not a different account manager every month. Not a VA farm pretending to be an agency. They deserved someone who actually showed up, actually cared about their results, and actually knew what they were doing.
